Price watches and watchlists

Pitchstack allows you to watch the price of a card or a sealed product, so you don't have to keep checking a listing yourself. When the price crosses a number you pick, you get told about it.

Watches live inside watchlists. You can make several of these to group things however you like; cards for a deck you are building, sealed product you are speculating on, or cards you want to sell into a spike.

Creating a watch

The Watch price button shows up anywhere a price does, so you will find it on a card page, on a set's sealed products, on an item in a collection, and on the watchlist page itself.

When creating one you pick a direction and a threshold. Direction is simply above or below, and the threshold can either be an absolute price or a percentage change.

Note: a watch is tied to a specific product and price source, so the red printing and the rainbow foil of the same card are tracked separately.

The watchlist page

Each row shows a product, its current price, and how it has been moving. The chart underneath can be switched between 30 days, 90 days, and a year.

If you tick two or more rows, they will be drawn on the same chart, either by percentage or by price. This is handy when you want to know whether one card is spiking or the whole set is moving.

Getting notified

How a triggered watch reaches you is set in Settings → Notifications. This can be your inbox, an email, or both.
