Cards and sets
Reading a card page
Printings, languages, pitch variants, keyword rulings, prices, and play data on a card.
A card page describes everything you need to know about a card. These pages contain the card image, what it does, what it is legal in, the various printings of it, and more.
The card image
The card image is interactive. On the website it "moves" as you drag a pointer across it, and foil cards get special effects that simulate what it would be like to turn the card in your hands.
The controls beside it change what it does...
- Foil shows the foiling treatment where a foil printing exists.
- Flip turns a double-faced card over.
- 3D tilts the card as you move the pointer. Website only, since it follows a pointer.
- Selecting the image opens it full size.
Note: on the website each of these also has a keyboard shortcut —Alt+F,F,D, andIrespectively.
Details
By the image sits the card's stats, rules text, and legality.
If a card has "pitch siblings" (cards with the same name, but in other colors), Pitch dots will be shown under the name. These switch between the red, yellow, and blue versions of the same card in place.
If a card has keywords or abilities, these will be shown under the rules text. Clicking on these will show the description from the comprehensive rules.
Adding to a collection
If you are logged in and have an existing binder, you will see an Add to collection button (A). Using this allows you to quickly add a copy of the printing to a collection.
Printings and languages
Every physical printing of the card is listed: set, collector number, rarity, and finish, including finish-specific printings such as a rainbow foil. Selecting one updates the image, so the printing you are looking at is the one you share.
All languages are supported, but are not on by default. Language buttons can be pressed to enable showing printings of that language in the printings list.
Note: Promos printed in other languages, such as Japanese or Chinese, will only show if you enable that language!
Related
This section shows cards related to the current card you are viewing. This will show cards referenced by or referring to this card (ie a token that the card makes, or a specialty card related to a specific hero).
Additionally, if you are logged in, decks and collections that contain the selected card or printing will show here.
Usage
Usage shows recent data on how this card sees play. This gives insights into overall how many decks run this and how many copies, and then shows these stats for each hero with match data that has played this card.
A dropdown here allows changing which format is shown (Classic Constructed, Silver Age, etc) and the time period for the data (past 7d, 30d, etc).
Prices
Shows the current market price with a history chart, and a link out to TCGplayer. The range buttons switch between one, three, six, and twelve months, and moving across the chart reads off a specific day.
Watch price sets up an alert for this card at a price you choose. See Price watches and watchlists.
