Exporting a deck

Should you need to export your list so that you can take it to another website or back it up, Pitchstack offers numerous ways to do this...

All of these live behind the More button on your deck page. You will need to be signed in to see them, though the deck does not have to be yours.

Copy to Clipboard

An easy way to export your deck is to copy it to your clipboard so you can paste it somewhere else. You can copy it in two ways; a sectioned breakdown, or formatted for GEM.

The sectioned breakdown is the one to use if a person is going to read it, as it names the hero and format and splits the cards into sections. GEM is what tournament software expects, so use that when registering for an event.

Note: cards in Considering are left out of the GEM copy, as they are not part of the deck you are registering.

Making a file

If you want to save your decklist to a file, Pitchstack offers two built-in methods...

• Text downloads the same sectioned decklist as a .txt file, for when you want a file rather than a clipboard.
• JSON creates a high detail JSON file that contains EVERYTHING for your deck across all versions. Consider this a highly detailed backup.

The JSON is also what Pitchstack itself reads back on import, so it is the only format that survives a round trip without losing anything.

Generating an image

On the website, Image builds a poster of your decklist, which is handy for sharing somewhere that won't render a list nicely. You get a preview of it first, then you can either download it or copy it straight to your clipboard.

The poster includes the hero art, your name, the format, and a QR code back to the deck.

Note: the app exports a decklist as text or a file, and prints proxy sheets, but does not build the poster.
